Music Publishers Canada delegation returns to London for CREATE UK trade mission
Thirteen music publishers from across Canada travelled to London, England from February 8 to 11, 2026 for Music Publishers Canada’s CREATE UK trade mission. The publishers were also joined by representatives from CMRRA and SOCAN.
The programming included a day at the office of Music Publishers Association (MPA) UK. Sessions were comprised of presentations by MPA, PRS for Music, and Meta on topics including AI, the UK industry, and how to champion, represent and support all members of the publishing community.
MPC’s also hosted the UK version of its popular Meet the Music Supervisor series at Canada House in Trafalgar Square that featured music supervisors from the UK. The supervisors participated in two panels on trends in UK music supervision and then met with the publishers for a series of 110 1:1 b2b meetings. A group of Canadian songwriters also travelled with the delegation to explore creative opportunities and co-writes.
MPC would like to thank FACTOR, the Government of Canada, and the Trade Commissioner Service for their support. Thank you to Jennifer Kay and Canada House for their support of Meet the Music Supervisors. We would also like to thank CMRRA for sponsoring the Opening Night Mixer.
